BEATI QUORUM is a small hybrid professional/ volunteer ensemble singing the gamut of choral music. Our five-year goal is to have a quorum of 12 professional contracted singers rotating in for different concerts alongside 16-24 volunteer singers chosen by the demands of the repertoire. The music programmed will be from the earliest sounds notated in history through avant-garde and modern/ contemporary music. We will program and record works with small orchestras, organ, and modern musical ensembles.
Beati Quorum is excited to team up each concert with guest artists locally, nationally, and internationally to produce notable concerts locally and on the road. This April's fundraising Gala will help support our July concert with visiting choir, Noorus, from Estonia. Our longterm plans are to engage with the community of Santa Cruz directly by enhancing events, stirring inspiration in music education and bringing a distinguished choral sound to our musical community.
